Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe (born in America) is an American country and pop artist. Her debut singles came out in 2007 as well as an album entitled Satisfied. She worked for nearly five years in Iowa City as the Deputy City Manager. As the Assistant Village Manager her current duties include managing the Community Development and Building Department and the completion of tasks. Ashley assists in assisting with the village's services on a daily basis, while working with the elected representatives of the local area. Ashley's previous roles included municipal planning, government communications and budgeting. She also managed personnel and collective negotiations. The focus was also on the climate change issue. Ashley's involvement in national organizations, and her work with communities of varying demographics has allowed her to gain insight into the differences and similarities in the way various public agencies are run. Ashley's teaching focuses on the current approach to management and leadership in public institutions from a seasoned professional.
